My beloved ocean

My beloved ocean

I catch a glimpse of you every morning from my seat on the bus and long to escape the daily routine of my life for the freedom of your shore. I’d record every movement and mood of the tides; the remains of fierce storms and gentle ripples left scattered on the beach. I’d preserve each moment in pen and lens, until the time comes when I must leave this world and my ashes are scattered among the waves, so that I may be with you forever more.
